I support an energy strategy that prioritizes affordability and price stability, using renewables where they lower costs and holding SRP accountable for passing those savings on to ratepayers.
SRP manages both power and water, and in a desert facing long-term drought, every drop matters. I support investing in water-efficient infrastructure and technology — from reduced-loss delivery systems to smart metering — that stretches our supply further without shifting costs unfairly onto ratepayers.
Data centers consume enormous amounts of water for cooling, and SRP has been approving these facilities without adequate public scrutiny of their impact on our shared water resources. I support requiring transparency and accountability for large commercial users — if SRP is going to prioritize data center growth, ratepayers deserve assurance that our water supply won't be compromised in quality or availability to subsidize it.
